Remedy for stye in the eye:

1. Hot compress-- take a bowl of warm water and dip your towel in and press against your stye for 10 mins at least, repeat 3 to 4 times a day
2. Apply antibiotic ointment
3. Keep your hands clean by washing with soap
4. Go out and dun think abt it!

Yup, that's what I did yesterday and my stye has reduced by quite a lot... lots of love from your friends help too :) going to watch enchanted with clara later! rather excited cos I was watching the trailers on youtube yesterday and the songs are so nice! I replayed the song "so close' again and again... hehe... It's a fairytale come true =] yup, hope to really enjoy my time later before going to teach tuition. This tuition is pretty high paid but I always feel so stressed when I go there cos I felt I am not qualified enuff to teach. Esp physics, I sometimes can't answer his questions... Chem's not so bad haha...

Anyway had my first tuition lesson with my new student yesterday... Thanks to Shihan for recommending it to me =] The student's quite nice and her house is quite huge for a condo... quite envious of her in fact, esp when her mum kept coming in to ask her what colour she likes for the curtains... the curtain materials are so colourful and she chose this shade of purlish blue, kinda mysterious... I like it too! anyway, it was quite a fruitful first lesson with her I hope...

I hope this post will come out in black cos the font is purple by default... Anyway, after staying two days at home, i'm desperate! I want to get out! But my stye in the eye is not going away yet, though I hope it's believably less red... Haiz... I think this is one of the worst things to happen after a string of exams, when all you want to do is to go out and enjoy...

Being home ridden, I still managed to do some stuff:
1. Swept the floor
2. Tidy up my room
3. Pack the winter clothings into my new and huge Samsonite luggage
4. Pack my sister's J1 notes into my now empty folders =] such a good sister rite?
5. Read up a bit on Philadelphia and New York
6. GYM!
7. Clean and polished my silver earrings
8. Blog....
9. Wash my pink crocs
10. Lots of youtubes and facebooks...

When my stye recovers, which is tomorrow, I shall:
1. Catch up with friends like Clara, Julia, Charlene and my favourite RG and HC friends!
2. Shop for boots, more socks, beanie and muffler
3. Work for Lancome and Blue Orange
4. Go out with Zj =] gonna miss him so much when I go USA
5. Go out more with my family
6. Cut my hair! Should I dye it?
7. Basically deal with the last stage stuff for NOC, like going to US embassy? When's the appt?!!?

Anyway, at least for today I promise myself not to be home ridden, cos I'm going to teach tuition! Need the $$...

2nd day of hols

I guess having nothing to do at home gives me no excuse not to blog... My cyst is nowhere better today! And I have a feeling that I am allergic to chlorotetracycline like my sis... stupid doc dun believe me... really hate her...

During the exams period I still had some activities going on like my former tuition teacher, Miss Chia's wedding! It was wonderful seeing her walk down the aisle in the oh so pretty white gown with her beloved... I nearly teared... but the bad thing that happened after tat is that I scratched my dad's car really badly... haiz... wat a thing to happen 2 days before my exams...

Anyway, I resolved to have a nicer day today by waking up early to read the newspapers, to pack my luggage a bit for NOC and then to photocopy all the docs and finally, pack my room! =] I always feel happier after packing my room, as if a part of my life has been set straight... To go all the way, I even threw away the black bag which I had used for two entire terms cos it was torn already... Love it so much cos it was from my close Uni friends for bday and it was so roomy and useful! But I guess all good things must come to an end...

After much discussion with Weijian who is right now studying at Durham university in UK and experiencing snow, I decided that I still need to get muffler, beanie and boots! and more socks if I dun wanna keep washing my stuff in the middle of winter... haiz I guess I need to charge to my credit card for now if I wanna get anything cos I have practically no money... All depends on how much I can squeeze outta my time for work this hols... poor me... I still need to meet up with friends b4 I go... Where do I get the time? haha... I'll survive!

Feel so much like going out today, despite my evident cyst... Shud I just wear my specs and look ugly, or wear my contacts with sunglasses, which might worsen my condition? hhaha... talk about choosing lesser of the evils! So I just give my ezlink to my sis to end this dilemna... I will be stuck at home today... =(

Yea!! it's finally the last day of exams yest... I think i really screw up badly this sem, dunno why, mug a lot but always when i go to the exam room, i will be so nervous i cant think straight... haiz... nvm shall forget abt it till after christmas when the exams are out...

right now i gonna focus on my US noc trip!! just borrowed a book on new york and USA and I was so hooked on it since i started reading... heard that it started snowing already but i hope i can still shop when i reach there hehe...
yea and talk abt shopping, watch this space!
