Conned...

finding a reliable temp job is really not easy! I went to a marketing company, full of hope... but at the end of the day, i went away empty handed...

so this morning I arrived at orchard towers jus on time for the job orientation... met this gal who's from nus as well as we struck it off... tot it was going to be a good day but to my dismay, it's not wat i want... wat do u think of asking pple to donate on the streets then pocketing 30 percent of it? how much really go to the charity? i had told myself that i will never mix up charity and work... but the scary thing was how skilful those pple inside are at talking... justifying themselves with the NKF incident... that they pocket only 30 percent while NKF pockets 70 percent of the fund raising... i think without the other guy, kelvin around, i could have said yes...

so until two pm, i followed this guy around yishun, askin for donations... i was amazed by how generous pple can be, parting with their ten bucks simply by a few words... and i learnt nvr to judge a book by its cover cos the most shabbily dressed person may be the most generous... i know it will be good for me to learn to talk to strangers and even make them do ur 'bidding' like buy wat u say... but still, how can i go against my conscience to get money?

so kelvin and i escaped... hahaha... wat a weird day...
