A friday spent away from Home...

wanted to go hm tonight after my meeting but it's 9pm by the time it ended so i jus stayed for the night... might as well eat breakfast tmr before i go home... i missed two dinners and two breakfasts already... waste money haha... stay in hall really save money man, i haven't gone out of NUS since I check in on wed and I haven't spent much, unless u count the money spent on books... I din even spend anything today! hahah lunch was cereal.. haha my cranberry with almond cereal heheh healthy! it's great having somewhere to go between lectures and it's an especially comforting tot when U feel like having a nap in between ur lessons :) like today, i slept for nearly two hrs after my econs lect, before i go for my ChESS meeting... felt so refreshed! and the food's not bad, dinner got like 4 dishes... usually, i eat only 2 dishes for dinner if i eat outside hehe

not having to commute also gave me more time to myself so i made use of the saved time to read thru my course materials... determined to fulfill my resolution to read thru lect notes before the lect and revise it after tat :) on my way to a first class honors this sem!!! ahaha.. i shall make the best of hall time

btw, yesteryda there's IHG (interhall games) supper and it was fantastic~! I was entirely amused when the pple in charge jus shouted out "IHG supper now!" and pple jus rushed out from their hall rooms and gathered in the dining hall :) the MC was good though quite lame... the supper began with a bang by displaying the well-made IHG video and watching it just made me feel very much a part of the Temasek family, though I had spent less than a week in TH... I somehow wished to stay on next sem as well to play other games like handball and hockey, looks fun... hahah I'm falling in love with TH.. the pple are so nice, the place's so strategic and it's jus my dream hostel! haha every time b4 a lecture, i jus have to come out of my room 10 mins b4 and the bus almost arrived at the bus stop instantly... i'll be never late for my lectures again! hahaha jus so happy... and frens will pop up at night to visit u have late night chats :) how sweet is tat...

maybe i'm painting a rosy picture of everything... wait till more tuts and tests come along, i'll pull my hair out hahaha... tata

First comp of 2006!

alright, i'm spending my first night in hall now... jus ran 400m for the inter hall medley and i'm quite ma lu cos I came in third and I was caught up by someone from Eusoff! ai ya but the thing is 400m is not my pet so that's some consolation... the Temasek pple kept giving me the wierd look cos they never see me last sem and now i'm running for them... haha hope to get to know the rest soon...

it's pouring outside now.... brrr... so cold! i wonder what is zj doing now... wish he can come back soon! time seemed to crawl without him around.... anyway i haven't had formal lessons since mon... went into the classroom for only 15mins for my french lesson then i gotta report for IHG (inter hall games) liao... my fren was injured so she can't run 400m for the medley relay... I hate 400m! today's not a very good day for a race man... first the whole event dragged then it rained... so i was like trying to keep myself warm pathetically... finally, it was my turn to run but i started off too fast and at the last 100m, i was caught up by a Eusoff girl... dAMN it... haha i shall not let anyone overtake me for cross campus IHG! i'll try hard, starting from tmr... :)

i understand now why pple in hall can do well amidst the myraid activities... when there's nothing to do, there's nothing to do but mug! hahaha i shall be a full time mugger and runner! hahah... shall go mug now hahah

Temasek hall!

oh my god... i jus deleted a whole paragraph that i typed by mistake! jus survived moving two big luggages into TH and unpacked my room... but looks like luck isn't on my side cos i forgot to bring my hp! luckily i'm going home tmr to get my hp so i wun be like disconnected from the rest of the world man... sighz... later i realised that my hall doesn't provide wireless so gotta buy LAN wire! $5 flew jus like that... :p then if that is not bad enuff, i went out of my hall 1h too earlier cos i tot that my lecture starts at 3pm but it's actually at 4pm... bloody hell haha hope nothing else will go wrong :p oh ya, when i was using the washing machine jus now, i had to transfer the clothes 2 times cos the first two machines that i used spoiled! wow... i'm so amazed by how unlucky my day can get man... but at i'm staying at blk b where my runner frens are based in :) even met my old classmate Chiara! hahah... cool... but if i dun go for training, my teammates know where to get me haha :P

looks like i still have another 40mins to kill... zj's away at thailand for nearly a week now and i cant even receive his sms these days cos he's on his last navigation exercise till tue... how boring my life has become! cant wait for him to come man... sighz.. meanwhile i keep myself busy with mugging, (as if i would), blogging (i hope so), reading some trashy book called "wild weekend", doing hw ( i hate it), training! and basically msning and smsing... hhahaha.... life sucks... hopefully only till zj comes back :)
