I can't believe the sudden rush of good luck that has rained upon me these two days... First I got full marks for my french test and now I got chosen for NUS Overseas College! USA, here I come :) anyway, got to go and pia my biology 1000-word essay now heheh

Post elections

After a gruelling week of campaigning, interviewing and vote fighting, the sea is finally calm again. As I expected, I got the position of vice president of the Chemical and Environmental Engineering Student Society. Wanted so much to get presidential position tat I was still calling pple up when I supposed to sleep and recover from my week-old flu. The flu virus attack was so untimely! came at a time when i need most of my energy to pull me thru all these.... Maybe all these is meant to be.. haha i dun mind being the vice pres la... now all i hope is to do my job well and serve my peers with all i can do... :)

At least i got into the second NOC interview! If I pass this interview, US here I come! gonna leave around next august to study in UPenn hhaha will be half working and half working my way to a minor in technopreneurship for a year.... tat'll be like a dream come thru... the best thing is that i'll be paid so i wun be a burden to my parents :) something to look forward to for now...

sick

This is my first day of ponning sch... not tat i intentionally skipped sch but i'm sick! Can't believe how horrible it is to be sick cos i haven't been sick for a while... anyway i got cold and it prompted sore throat too... woke up early at 6 plus to go school and expecting myself to be well already cos i slept for 10h last night... in the end, i just had to succumb to my sickness and fall asleep again till ten plus... luckily i din push myself to go to sch if not i gonna be a burden to my frens cos they need to take care of me... now tat i took cold medicine and slept a while, i felt that my throat is miraculously better :)

I think i know why i'm sick tday... have been pushing myself to the limits the last few weeks and it's a wonder tat i din fall sick earlier... wish i coluld rest more but there're so many things to be done! even during the hols i could not afford the time to sleep already... sigh wat a busy life... i jus hope i wun be a rubberband that's stretched too much and waiting to be snapped... and i remember-- i went training on tue despite feeling unwell... but sometimes when pple are training too, u jus feel too guilty not to go... sighz i wish i'm back in france again
