At Peace...

When curiosity takes over, impatience reigns... oh watever... hahah I went to call the french immersion office today to ask when the award list will be released and she said next week... PHEW... i still stand a chance! if the award list is out on fri, it'll certainly be the best bday present :) anyway, i registered for my driving practical exams today! it's going to be on 3 aug and I gonna start driving next fri, which is on my bday! hahah i ought to be lucky on that day man... hahah exactly 5 months later, i am determined to drive my dad's new car! hahah

anyway, i try to take a rest every now and then today... been too piang last few days... keep working and working without a break... anyway, my programming skills are improving! i actually cracked the code for the odd lab by myself! such exhilaration is unbelievable! hhaha who says girls cant do programming? I am all out to dispel gender inequality! hahah well, let me go back to mugging again hahah

French immersion...

I really wonder when the french immersion award that I had applied for will be out. The german immersion award is already out! I really really hope that I can get it so i can go France for free and learn about this beautiful language, and of course to shop and gain more knowledge of the world... hai... this will be the best bday wish for me this year man! besides getting first class honours of course. Anyway, I shall try not to feel so sad should I not get it because I can still take it next year or go for NUS overseas college cos I applied for it too. In fact, I wanna go for NOC more than anything in the world... heheh... And I just signed up for internship with EDB! Looking forward to it cos' it'll be my first official job and I can get to know more about the economic sector which I hope to work in after I graduate... Finally, life's full of hope again! it's weird how when u allow urself to be picked and pieced together after ur life has been shattered and the cracks would somehow seal themselves back again... To me, confidence is very crucial to me... but I have to learn that self confidence comes from within and not from my achievements, though the latter does boost my confidence...

I am so so glad that I am staying in hall this sem cos I see a marked improvement in my school work and I can concentrate much better nowadays... can get more work done everyday and yet get sufficient sleep (not less than 5h) hahha... I jus applied to stay again next semester *cross fingers* and hope I can get to stay! hahaha....

anyway, I have something else to look forward to on sat! My dad is finally getting his new car! Kia cerato!! I just can't wait to sit in it man... haha... and tmr I will register for my driving practical test... i aim to pass at my first attempt! previously, I was thinking of learning auto but I guess I will just stick to manual cos it is more fun, more worth the time and effort... hehe... maybe i will get to drive a sports car next time n it is manual le? haha... I am so excited abt this weekend! wanted to go home tonight but i was too tired after the run... decided to stay back in hall to mug and catch up with my webcast :) a fruitful day again.... *smilez*

i gonna die from work....

i can really understand how people can die from work... completely... haha everyday i am jus doing stuff... never ending... never able to finish... help me! hahaha... die le... hope sch will end soon... or i can go france soon and leave the hectic lifestyle... gosh i am jus trying to run away from reality... but reality is cruel ain't it? escape is a solution in itself sigh

mid term break...

been rather busy lately.. only had time to update my birthday wishes list haha but here's my entry! well, the long awaited for mid term break has come and gone officially... cant believe time flies by so fast! now the rest of the term shall rush forward as if on the forward rewind mode... sighz trying hard to revise my chapters and buck up on my tuts nowadays but there are jus so much to do... gone are the days when i can mug for 6hrs straight... my ass is kinda itchy nowadays..cant sit down for long... it's weird that the older i am, the most restless i become haha

anyway, today has been a good day... i ran the inter faculty cross campus race and got 4th, despite my ankle injury... my engine team miraculously got 2rd! though it consisted of people outside the ivp term, except for me of cos... :) my ivp team went to mac for breakfast after that merrilly strolled back to the hall... after that i went to michelle's room and coop her external drive... now i got 2000 plus songs in my comp! yo hoo! :) hahah smarter form of file transfer sia hahah... yea! was thinking of buying cd but now dun need liao... listening to the dirty dancing tracks now damn nice

yup and i had mugged finished one chapter of phy chem now... not bad... done my laundry too :) gonna mug somemore hehe zj is commissioning next next sat! so fast man.... need to see his parents officially for the first time so scary... hahah but i cant wait for the ball... hehehe my dad's car is finally coming next sat! now i dun have to lag heavy bags back to hall hehe my shoulder muscles are like sore from all the carrying lo.. i am always afraid that i will fall into the drain when i walk along the shortcut to my hall and yesterday i had to get down to the drain! cos my ezlink fell inside... luckily not my hp this time cos i finally got it all repaired hahah... hope i dun have to visit the nokia care shop in a long long time! but then if wanna spoil then better spoil before the expiry of the warranty la hahah... k tat's all... ciaoz~
